It's case of e-mailing around lots of people and asking them if they want to start chatting. Go through my comments. There is loads of friendly people on my site. Just write something generic about needing some friends on the site and cut and paste it on at least 30 people. Also become a fan of theirs as well and if you can also tag them then brilliant. That usually starts up a conversation. Also if you can join an Island that helps. Try this first and if you are still stuck in a few days I'll try and come up with more ideas. PS - Also try writing to all the newbys and they are in the same position.
