Why I should be Shipwrecked!

I was born to be Shipwrecked! Every part of the show appeals to what I am best at and enjoy doing in life. I am very used to living in close group environments & shine as a great team member and lead from the front when I have to! I have a winning temprement & am very competetive but also have a side of me that allows people to confide in me and get good advice. The game absolutely thrills me & I would embrace every challenge with passion and cant imagine I would dislike a single second of it. The thought of spending the days with my team, building rafts, building huts, fishing, playing silly buggers, competeing and the nights entertaining the troops & new arrivals around a fire makes me shiver with anticipation and is something I long for!!! People ask me "Would it not be better to save up your money & go to the Cook Islands yourself?" I say "Don't be a bloody idiot! Its not just about the golden beach & the blue water ... lazing around in sun! Its all about the game!"

What I'd like to change about myself

I would like to be able to choose one thing in life and go for it! At the moment I am a bit of a 'jack of all trades' - getting by Playing in bands, Session singing, building websites, building reptile tanks & furniture, working in an office, designing logos .... the list goes on forever! With the fact that I am getting married soon - I see Shipwrecked as a very perfect chance to sorry for the cliche) 'find myself' and realise what my calling in life actually is whilst having an amazing experience!

Past Highlights .....!

I have done an awful lot of touring with my band 'Naked Ape' and have many wicked stories and memories & hopefully many more to come! I was also a Butlins Red Coat which - when I tell people - sometimes gets me a ribbing and some times gets me respect! haha You can decide for yourself!!!

Scared of

Dying without achieving my life goals. Whats more scary is that my life goals are crazy & hard to achieve ... ie: Getting on Shipwrecked, Headlining Glastonbury, Climbing El Capitan (A huge vertical mountain), Singing with Queen as my backing band!Now i'm scared that i'm gonna be scared forever! Agggghhhhh where does the madness end! lol :-)

Happiest when

Theres a few really! When I'm in the car with my missus, driving somewhere singing along to our favourite tunes! Is soppy but true! I buzz the hardest when I am on stage infront of a baying crowd and I hold out my microphone and they all sing my words back to me! Another is when I am in competiton .... I am always zoned in and it helps you forget about day to day life!!! I love being in the crazy crowd at Tottenham Hotspur and write for there website which makes me smile! It makes me feel involved with the club even though they would never agree to put me upfront! Lastly - I love hanging out with my 3 brothers, 2 of which are 8 and 11 and keep me on my toes constantly!!!!

Music / Film / TV ...

MUSIC - I am one of those annoying people that says "I love all kinds of music" but .... honestly its true! Some faves I can think of ....... Queen, Biffy Clyro, Bon Jovi, Jeff Buckley, Tool, Fugees, Killswitch Engaged, Refused, Sikth, Dr Dre, Eminem, Muse (going to c them at Wembley on Saturday!), Cypress Hill, Bush, Bob Marley, Incubus, Iron Maiden, F4AF, RATM, SOAD, The Killers errrr ... are u bored yet??!!! :-) FILM - I love Ganster flicks, especially British ones with Ray Winston! Love anything with that kind of 'Shipwrecked' theme i.e: Castaway, The Beach, Obviously Shipwrecked!, Lost, Alive etc .. Gotta love Football Factory, ID, Green Street and those types of films too! Best TV at the mo has to be Family Guy & American Dad but Lost will be back on again soon and that will once again take its throne!!
