I’ve been on this site for 12 days now and I’ve noticed something. The only people being called for interviews are young, usually under 23, for the women size 8/10 maybe a 12 if they are lucky to get away with it, stunningly beautiful and the men well they all have to have rippling muscles be in their early 20’s and be a Brad Pitt look-alike. We all know they will put in the token gay people the butch lesbian and the camp gay guy but why do they have to be so stereotypical Why can’t there be beautiful lesbians (they do exist) and why not make have the gay contingent look like John Barrowman (for example). What about an island of equality. Why can’t women who are the national size which is actually a size 16 go on the show and why do all men have to be buff. Also they seem to have being prejudicial towards people with ginger hair. Why can’t someone with ginger hair be on the show? Finally the age barrier. Why only young people. I get that there has to be a certain age limit but a lot of people in their 30’s have not settled down, marriage wise or moved out of home it’s the way the world works now. And surely if you put all the groups together that I suggested what you will end up with is communities. People will have different things to talk about because they will have had different experiences in their lives and 5 months is a long time to talk about just hair and make-up or for the men FHM and Playboy. So here’s my proposal. I know that at 34 they will not consider me but I do know that they monitor this site. So what I propose to do is argue on behalf of the majority (the people that wouldn’t normally be considered). If you believe in my “Mission Statement” as such then please become a fan and also tag me. If they see there are a lot of people responding to one person they will look why and then they can see what we all want. And finally to the Producers if you are reading this if we wanted to be prejudiced and not be on a great programme we would have applied for Castaway on BBC1 (now wasn’t that a success!!!!). Come on troops get behind me on this and hopefully it will help you. Don’t forget become and fan and tag me and trust me I will respond to everyone who gets involved so that it is noted on their site and I will also keep a list of everyone involved and put it on my profile for the producers to read.
