yepp do love shopping...when i have money :( haha yeh weekend was ok....gettin a bus down brighton with loads of mates this sat so jst waiting for tht really! urrmm yeh same here...i think it went ok...but dont wana get my hopes up :D haha x
haha thats quite funny bcos ive got some family that live in australia and i was thinking about moving out there with them for a coupl e of months and get some work out there :) haha and im applying to so art, event, performance but at leeds met :) strange eh? guna be weirrd being out of education! x
good luck with your exam aswell then. when i got to college that was the first time i ever revised. i just sailed through school without having to try but then i got to college and realised i actually have to work and revise! guna have a year out and hope that i get on shipwrecked. if not then i am guna try and get work experience in as many different work places as possible. exciting things tho :) then uni. what about you? x
haha i love tht every college student says that when they leave college they are free :D haha. yepp everything blocked here....its sooo annoying. BTEC performing Arts and AS english lang/lit. got my english exam this friday! then all i have is perforing arts and that is btec so its examined throughout the 2years not in one big exam! what about you....subjects? exams? x
yeah i know they are but the auditions for next year are like in a month or two so just gettin ready. lol. of course im jokin although it is highly comical and should be rated as a classic(ly bad film) lol.
how much does the horrors track 'gloves' utterly rule?! i spent this weekend rediscovering my love of the brilliant late-60s psychedelia, rockabilly and malevolent indie splendour they represent. plus there was the courteeners homecoming gig. and how was your weekend? i'm rather an anti kooks girl to be frank. x
they certainly had a deal or two more charisma about them than those other musical brothers, forming the cornerstone of another excellent british band, the coombes siblings from supergrass - dull dull dull. i'm bloodly loving whitey at present. x
i have been a long-standing loather of 'the turner', yet i can't get enough of the age of the understatement...which i put down to some killer harmonies with the lovely and very talented little miles kane (who is the spit of my boyfriend, minus the scouse accent). i've always been a big heads fan, even if there was a wilderness period after being dropped by their label off the back of the release of the rather amateur second album. but i interviewed them for a uni newspaper, though possibly made the mistake of doing so when the brothers hyde were both rather drunk, and had a right laugh. x
aaaah, i saw the courteeners this time last year - when they were working their way up and down the manchester and northwest circuit - and fell in love with liam fray instantly. am properly into my mgmt, hercules and love affair, video nasties and digitalism ('pogo' is one quality track) at present. your views on the last shadow puppets are...? x
of the acts thus confirmed those you have just mentioned are highest on my list, even if the follow-up bloc party album failed to deliver placed against the mighty debut. new bands you're loving at present are...?
i have the blessed leeds tickets! though i have to say the first crop of acts announced are rather hit or miss for me. can only claim to truly adore a handful. like last year i feel i shall be pinning my hopes on some quality smaller bands, steering clear of the main stage - with the exception of the raconteurs, have a little crush on brendan benson. your thoughts are...? the parents and the boyf got on swimmingly it must be said. he and my dad have a shared interest in design, by way of their respective careers, so they were chatting a-plenty. x
reading. i cant afford it lol. might sneak in this year lol. if not i can always go V fest for nothing! im good thanks. watching crimewatch. tis creepy. xx
i am indeed aware of the genius modest mouse. the boyfriend is coming down to spent the uni break with me and my parents - i have made a white and dark chocolate marble cake to ease the worry of this their first meeting. and then the two of us head off to barcelona tuesday. x
digitalism are a pretty good bet too, as well as the hercules and love affair track 'blind' - i strongly suggest that it is checked out. lol. any plans for the impending bank holiday weekend? x
lol you should go to glasgow. 2 topmans about 2 minute walk from eachother. love it lol. and a mans riverisland with a vintage style section. spent so much money lol. xx
