I'm funny, cool, easygoing, a partyanimal and very helpful. I'm hearing impaired since I was born and want to show the world, that I and we deafs are completely normal human beings...My book is coming out soon!
My book will appear in October 2th 2006.Unfortunately it's only German and it will be translated in Dutch too. First, the book should be a bestseller, then it could be possible for English books, cuz I've soo many friends around the world who speaks English. But I translated the summary for you all English-Speakers:This is a story of a girl who could not hear. She came into this world deaf, learned to read lips, but had no notion of how music sounds. Then she received an implant which allowed her to hear and suddenly the 23-year old Fiona lives in a completely different world. The book tells the history of a young, life-loving woman who finds that after being given the gift of hearing, that the years of silence were also a gift. Now she must learn to conquer the world with all of her senses! Fiona would like to hear inside the hearts of all humans, which she knows long to be heard. A positive message for all people who suffer from a handicap is on the way.
