I hate people who are ignorant and who think that they can convince you that they know better than you by simply
What I'd like to change about myself
I'd make myself a few inches taller, just so I can experience what it's like to go clubbing and not lose your friends.
Naughtiest thing I've ever done
I think the naughtiest thing I've ever done would have to be having sex in the men's changing room showers with my then-boyfriend at the rowing club. The moment was kind of ruined when my brother charged into the changing rooms asking if anyone had seen me. Thank god HE didn't see me.
Scared of
Crabs (and I mean the kind you find at the beach) as they are the most grotesque freaky beings on this planet. The thought of being anywhere near them makes my palms sweat. Nothing that's not evil walks sideways. Or scuttles.
Happiest when
Drinking on the beach. I don't think you can get any closer to paradise.
Dream come true of my life
When I was 15, I met one of my brother's friends at a wedding. I talked to him all evening and failed to mention that I was only 15, while he was 28. He was just amazing and I totally fell for him. He found out later how young I was, and was amazed! All we did was chat, but I spent the next few years daydreaming about maybe one day ending up with him.
3 years later, at another wedding when I was 18 I saw him again. I was just so excited! Later on, while everyone else was at the reception meal, I went to the beach with my brother's girlfriend and we got trollied on cheap plonk and we then made our way to the evening party. I was so hammered, but outrageously confident. I vaguely remember dancing on the dancefloor and reaching out and grabbing his bum. I knew he liked it, as he was grinning like mad. Later, still mullered, I marched confidently over to him and proudly announced that I was '18 now'! I then snogged his face off, before being dragged away by my over-protective big brother. Suddenly I was being taken home by my family!
I didn't see him or hear about him for another 3 years and I merely considered myself lucky to have had a snog. I assumed that he still considered me, if he though about me at all, to be his mate's kid sister.
When I was 21, I went out in a pub in Exmouth with my brother and guess who strolls in! My god, I've never been so excited- he is the sexiest, most gorgeous guy who I'd daydreamed about for the last 6 years. He said hello as my brother and I left the pub and I went home with my head spinning. I just HAD to get in touch.
On the exact same day as I plucked up the courage to send him a letter saying hello, my brother sent me a text message saying the his friend was asking about me and wanted my number!! We've been in touch over the last year and get on amazingly.
Sounds lame, but the whole thing has just proved to me that even something that seems so unrealistic and unachievable can still surprise you by coming true.
