Where are you from?

I'm Jemma and i've just finished 6th Form at my High School in a village called Stowupland. Everyone is lovely and I've made some great friends over the years but it's one of those places where everybody knows each other and nothing much happens so I can't wait to move on to bigger and better things! I live in another little village next to the one where I go to 6th Form and everyone is equally as out-dated. My mum and younger brother share my abode and my dad lives in Norwich so I don't see him very much. He travels quite a lot and has lived in central London, amongst other places, so experiencing city life has made my stay in Suffolk seem even more blander!

What are your hobbies?

In order to add some exitement into my life, I like to get out as much as possible! I'm lucky to have found a group of people that share my opinions about where we live and we all go out of our way to do new things and go to new places. One thing we're all really passionate about is music and the majority of our social life is influenced by it. We recently started up a promotions company called "Scene & Heard Presents..." to put on gigs in our nearest town and it's been really successful! Devoting so much time to something I love whilst making money from it is my idea of perfection! We're also involved in the performing side of things too and I sing with a lot of bands in the area so my friends and I spend a lot of time supporting each other, writing songs or just sitting around with a guitar and singing our heads off. We spend a lot of time and money driving all over the country to see our favourite bands or just to go on roadtrips if we're bored! The tractors in Suffolk aren't really appealing so we constantly get urges to go elsewhere...

What are you like?

I wouldn't say i'm a tomboy but I find it much easier to get on with guys due to my interests and hobbies. My three best friends are all guys and I don't really have many close girl mates. I'd say I have a pretty large social circle but my boys are definitely the ones that I feel most comfortable around and have the most fun with. It's probably due to me being a rather jealous and competitive being and so if I avoid contact, there aren't any girls to feel threatened by! My competiveness also leads to me being quite determined so if somebody pushes me, I will stand my ground and events in the past have been known to get quite heated! I've chilled out a lot in the past few months but if I really think someone is in the wrong, I will let them known without hesitation. I have an extreme dislike for girls that think they're well alternative because they listen to Razorlight and The Kooks. The same kind can be seen wearing 'Save the Rave' tshirts even though they've never even been to one and they may have also recently developed a liking for drum'n'bass because they want to be like the girls on Skins. Topshop generation, argh!

Any weird habits or hobbies?

Once people get to know me, they also start to notice my mild OCD! I have to keep extremely good hygiene and must be overly organised or I begin to feel rather queasy. All of my CD's and DVD's are in alphabetical order and I have weird habits like only being able to use one set of cutlery in my house. Freak... Deep down i'm a nerd at heart and my street cred is probably in the minus numbers but I have to admit to my obsession with Star Wars. I was raised on it as a small child, along with every Disney film and musical under the sun so my knowledge in all three areas is of a somewhat embarrassingly high level! One other thing about me is that I am overly flexible and can do many odd things with my body which is always amusing in moments of boredom!

What do you do?

I've just finished 6th Form with the hope of going to Uni to study Drama & Film Studies although i'm thinking of taking a year out! I also work at Costa on Saturdays which I absolutely adore! It's a bit of a manic job but I've made some great friends there and something hilarious happens every saturday. This usually involving such characters as 'dog in a bag lady' and 'mocha man' or participating in the infamous Costa Challenge.
